About the Studio

Small on
purpose.

One bay, one car and a team who’d rather do less work properly than more work quickly.

Started in a borrowed garage, for one car.

Started in a borrowed garage, for one car.

Coachline began in 2014 with a friend’s tired grand tourer and a lot of patience. The owner had been told it needed a respray. It needed careful polishing instead, and two days later it looked like a different car.

That’s still how we work. We measure before we touch anything, and we tell people when they don’t need the expensive option. Most of our work now comes from those conversations.

A coachline is the fine hand-painted line along a car’s body. Nobody notices it until it’s missing. We named the studio after it because that’s the kind of detail we care about.

How we work

Measure first

Depth readings on every panel, recorded and shared with you.

Say what’s needed

If a wash and a sealant will do, that’s what we’ll quote.

Finish indoors

Nothing leaves until it has cured and been checked in daylight.
